Cyrano Question....

As we all know, Cyrano is not very attractive...especially to women. But, his personality is outstanding. Do you think that he has a chance with Roxane? Do you think that she can look past his appearance, and judge him on his personality? Why or why not?

    I think he has a chance with Roxanne. Cyrano has a great personality, and I'm sure she can look past his nose! After all, "Love is blind"!

    I think that Roxane will look past Cyrano's ugly appearance because Cyrano is the good guy and in most stories the good guy wins. unless its one of those tragic love stories like Romeo and Juliet.

    I think that many people would be able to look past his appearence, but I don't believe Roxanne would be one of them. She seems to conceited to look past his face and find the beauty that lies underneath. By the way she treated Christian when he couldn't find the words to say to describe how he felt about her, we can assume she wants the absolute perfect man in every way, and Cyrano's face does not fit that role.

    I think that Cyrano definitely has a chance with Roxane, and that Roxane could look past Cyrano's appearance. It's what is on the inside that counts. A great personality can overcome any facial appearance. I think in the end, Roxane will quit being so conceited. I think she will be able to look past physical characteristics and realize that Cyrano is a really genuine guy.

    I think there is a chance for Cyrano. Especially with the new deal he made with Christian. After Roxane realizes that Cyrano wrote the letter she will hopefully be able to look past his huge nose and see who is inside. At the same time though she may never find out and just marry Christian. I personally hope she realizes.

    I think that there is a chance for Cyrano. I think that Roxane could become suspicious after all of Christians stuttering under the balcony. I think she may realize that it was actually Cyrano, not Christian that was speaking. I think that she will be able to look past his ugliness and she can love him. She already loves him through his words, she just needs to realize whose words they are.

    Roxane will likely never fall for Cyrano. Her relationship with him has developed too fully and can not be driven from familial to romantic by any amount of eloquence or poise. Cyrano will always be as a brother to her, a sad but real truth.

    I definatly think that Cyrano has a chance with Roxane! She may be falling for Christians looks right now but I think in the end she will fall in love with what Christian says, which is really Cyrano's love for Roxane.
